This song is meant to be humorous, but sympathetic to the trials of those who struggle for equality and respect.  But it is written with a small amount of tongue-in-cheek flippancy for which I can only ask forgiveness. I plead an intransigent mind-set acquired through hard labor in the fields of engineering.
