Amos has been many different things besides a folkie over the years, including a crank and a ne’er-do-well, a sea-captain, a hard-rock miner, a commercial diver, a teacher, writer, seminar-leader, engineer, project manager and perhaps most important, father.

 

It is just too bad he has done none of these things as well as he would have liked, but he enjoys the breadth of his accomplishments, no matter how shallow!

 

He also tries to keep his sense of humor nearby at all times.
